Re: Inverness + 50 miles area - "Bongo specialists"

Highland Campervans by Dalcross service Bongos. They used to run their own fleet of hire Bongos so should know their way around them.

Re: MOT Fail - Lower Joints - AGAIN!! Press?

We fitted replacement lower ball joints from a reputable source (not ebay) and the rubbers went in less than a year and the joints became loose. As we didn't have time for the Bongo to be off the road we purchased the complete Mazda genuine wishbones and wish we had done this the first time around.

Glen Torridon Wild Camping Recommendations?

Does anybody know a good spot for wild camping in Glen Torridon.

Heading there in July for a spot of mountain biking and looking for spots to stop.

Re: Switch bulb

I used a 12V bulb from Maplin and installed it onto the plastic adaptor that the original bulb was on.

Re: DIY oil change - no garage or pit available

I use a Pela pump then dispose of the used oil at the local council household recycling facility. Personally I find the Pela pump a lot less hastle.

Scottish Bongo Bash At Gairloch

We set off on the Friday morning stopping at The Connage Cheese Pantry ( http://www.connage.co.uk ) to pick up s...

Re: South Links Caravan Park, Montrose

It's never good to here of anyone having a bad experience at a campsite. We stayed at that site last year for a Saturday night as Mrs G was doing a stock count at their Montrose facility on the Saturday. We didn't have any issues but then we didn't bother taking the popup tent with us that time. You...
