I fitted an extra switch to all 4 doors specifically for the a...

Re: Door problem or Battery??

Going on what you have said with the door open warning light coming on id say there is a good possibility that it could also be bringing your interior lights on which in turn has flattened your battery ??

Ok, so done a bit of mythbusting today. Shorting out the switch doesent work to bypass it as the switch has to be pressed then released before the roof will close.

Re: Moving the Roof Lock Cancel switch

Ive also been thinking of doing this, not looked at a wiring diagram yet but couldnt you just leave the switch wiring shorted out so as to simulate the switch being held down all the time ?

Re: Wiring Diagram Component Numbers

assuming you have a 95 2.5 diesel model then A1-01 is the starter motor (with combined solenoid) & A1-04 is the starter relay.

Re: V6 Self-inflicted Misery in Southern Spain!!

I don't see how anyone draining the fuel tank would mess about with any of the afore mentioned sensors....got to be something very simple. Not sure either, like I say im not familiar with the petrol Bongo setups, not sure if they drained the tank from the filler neck or a fuel pipe in the engine ba...

Re: V6 Self-inflicted Misery in Southern Spain!!

Not familiar with the setup on the petrol bongos but the pulsed coil earth is normally provided by the injection ECU which gets its spark information signal from the crankshaft sensor, are the injectors being pulsed when the engine is cranked ? check to make sure the crank sensor plug has not been d...
