Re: Willinton kit operation
I'm 100% confident the alternator is working properly, like I said I've had voltmeters on both batteries at the same time & the charge rate at the starter battery never drops below 13.8v minimum at any time with the engine running. After seeing how badly it had been fitted I went over every sing...

Willinton kit operation
Just after some info about the Willinton kit operation, my Bongo came with this kit already fitted, very poorly might I add, whoever fitted it left the original fuses in as well as the wiring to re route the interior electrics meaning the starter battery & leisure battery were always connected t...

Anyone with Plasma Dials
Just got a set of plasma dials & thought I better test them on a battery to check they work before fitting, they illuminate fine but the little transformer box buzzes quite loud but only when its set to blue, when the dials are set to green it still makes a slight noise as would probably expect ...

Re: 4x4 front wheel drive not working
Sorry for post hijacking as well but are the normal & LSD's interchangeable on the 4WD models ? My rear diff is a bit noisy & wouldn't mind changing it for a limited slip one if possible. Are they a straight swap of would you have to change half shafts as well etc ?

Re: Alternative Names for Common Parts
Timing belt/cam belt
Oxygen sensor/lambda sensor/HEGO sensor
MAF sensor/airflow meter
Crankshaft sensor/TDC sensor/engine speed sensor
Water pump/coolant pump
That's all I can think of off hand just now.

Re: egr?
I've blanked off both ends and taken the pipe off completely. makes it so much easier to get at the glowplugs and bits on that side of the engine. http://i861.photobucket.com/albums/ab173/briwy/P1200648small.jpg Its worth cleaning the manifold the manifold while you're at it, usually full of gunge....
