STOP picking on Alan - wether it's the elder, older, doddery or youngish one! He's a likkle flower of delicate disposition and we don't want to scare him away. Cos if we do and he doesn't show up, then we can't pick on him. Don't let on though. Peg Leg Pete, you'd best be there matey - not seen your...

Re: Bring Me a Bongo

I think that you may have to take a longer more considered approach in choosing the right conversion to suit your needs. I'm toying with the idea of producing a fact sheet in the guise of a xl spreadsheet: Basic image of conversion type; advantages, disadvantages, approx cost etc etc Problem is that...

Re: Cornwall/Devon Bongo Dealers

When looking for a bongo - defo always go for an aft I've never heard of an after market roof 'bending' or owt like that though! I use Olive as my full time vehicle to commute to work etc - there are a few carparks locally that have a 1.9m height restriction - however there are also plenty of car pa...

Re: Kid friendly campsite in France

There is a cracking campsite at Troyes - about 90 mins chug south of Reims - we have stayed there a few times - nice size pitches, almost in the centre of town - supermarket next door, free wifi and a swimming pool. The shower blocks are also of a good standard. The weather is lovely Aug/Jul as well!

Re: Cornwall/Devon Bongo Dealers

Heres a few pointers to help you AFT - sturdy build and very reliable/robust - however if they do go wrong in can be pricey, but there is a lot of info on the forum and factsheets about diy repairs etc After market roof - pro manual so no working parts to go wrong - cons.....most converters remove t...

Re: bonnet bra

I got mine from van-x. You can either bid on one from ebay or buy direct online. Also every now and then one pops up on ebay as well.

Enjoy is what I say

Re: bonnet bra

I've a bonnet bra and swear by them. Unfortunately unless you can find someone to make one, you are limited with what is around! The previous posts about 'tide' marks and rust are true. However, what I do is; remove bonnet bra and put in a 30/40C wash to get rid of all the residual dust/grit/sand fr...
