is yours an auto? if yes , how do you know its coming in late? it may be coming in but it may be weak/worn. is this the only symptom regarding performance,does it change gear when it should. quick check around the air/vacuum pipes to the turbo may help,check the air inlet system from where it comes ...

the temp gauge as kirsty says does not move unless the cooling is struggling,if its not modified. the gauge going to the H point is roughly where the fans come on,and are the last chance to cool.you say that the temp then dropped to 12 oclock,this is what it should do. the strange bit is you say you...

ive seen mazda ones in scappys that have 750kg stickers on,these should do imo,just wanted a bongo one,

if doing the outer ball joint,as dreamy says above but also check that the wishbone is not rusted badly before you start or it may fall apart.

no the oil cooler is IN THE BOTTOM 2 INCH OF THE RAD if this has poped its contents of copper gauze like material would be released into the coolant system.also you could have coolant in your gbox if its an auto.check the g/box on the dipstick and its condition.

the oil cooler and its contents are made from copper, the internals of the oil cooler are very soft and bright copper,the body is 1mm sidewall hard brittle copper.someone may have put a foreign body in.

the only copper in the cooling system that i know of is the oil cooler inside the bottom plastic part of the coolant rad.look for two 1 inch pipes going in at the bottom.if this has failed/leaked/broken up, it could have gone through the water pump and shreaded it,check for signs in the gearbox if i...

turbo/exhaust manifold off.what a b*tch of a job.there is always one that wont budge or is gonna snap,i feel lucky there was two.
new mazda manifold gasket £11.00 plus vat and studs and some nuts ordered.
manifold needs/is getting skimmed as no1 was 1mm out and no8 was 0,5mm up and about to leak.
