Re: THinking of a holiday in Kent this year
We have stayed at both, both are the normal standard, Canterbury is ideal for covering the whole of Kent as your never more than an average of 30 minutes, worse an hours drive to anywhere in the county, also the takeaways deliver to site ;-) Folkestone has great views of the Channel and over to the ...

Re: Parking / Proximity Sensor system
I did have a look around for spare sensors when we first got our Bongo, as I wanted to add a couple to the Thule Box mounted on the tow-bar - no luck :-( Ended up making the rear two sensors extendable on plugs and move them from the Bumper to the Box when we fit it during the summer. I think the on...

Re: Battery drain on fuse 1.
There are quite a few circuits off this fuse as it isn't switched by the Ignition. The leading number refers to the Page in the Wiring Manual which is available here http://www.g8dhe.net/bwm/default.htm or shout for help if wiring isn't your thing ;-) ; X03-8 10 Amp 30 Engine - Control System - WL-T...

Re: Parking / Proximity Sensor system
I think you'll find the Mazda fitted Corner Sensor system is as Haydn describes with two displays one on the Dashboard and the other visible in the Rear mirror, see below; http://www.g8dhe.net/bongo_images/CornerSensorDisplayFront.jpg http://www.g8dhe.net/bongo_images/CornerSensorDisplayRear.jpg and...

Re: DAB Radio / DAB+
As at the end of 2011;
http://www.mds975.co.uk/txmaps/txmaps.htmlWhile the BBC's national VHF/FM radio transmitter networks enjoy approximately 98% population coverage, it is likely to be some years bef re their DAB coverage reaches this figure.

Re: LPG Conversion - now CD player not reading - any ideas?
Have you tried a cleaning CD, to give the head a cleanup ? There might have been some dust and air movement which has just caused the problem.

Re: What is it ? is it a coolant alarm ?
The Mason alarm, handles the temperature side of things, it allows the normal Temperature gauge to move in a linear way, rather than the Mazda damped gauge, it also sounds an alarm at a preset point to warn you that the temperature has been exceeded. Haydn's alarm handles the level of coolant in the...

Re: Bleeding bongos
You still get hot water shooting out for a second along with a spray as it shuts off, if you have ever watched one operate in a CH system you will appreciate why its mounted within the low pressure vented cabinet!! Not sure I would want to be close to the the spray of boiling hot water at all!

Re: Mains chrging with Willinton fitted.
I have a Leisure battery with Willinton fitted. Among other things the cig lighter sockets are powered off the LB. I am thinking of carrying a battery charger with a fused accesory plug for topping up the LB at campsites and occasionaly at home, Am I right in thinking I can just plug the charger in...

Re: where can i get rear suspension coils
If you use the Lush project site to identify the vehicle, and part then you could always ask them to supply a compatible part the main site is http://www.lushprojects.com/bongopartsmk2/ The diagrams have a part number list in the top left, and if you click on the part on the diagram then it will ope...

Re: Mystery of the HOLD light!
Yes if TAT and FAT are present then hopefully the ECU for the transmission is connected to them ...... one assumes #-o Out of interest what is the VIN code on your vehicle (PM if you don't want to put it out publicly-not quite sure what harm it can do but some don't like to expose it!) It would be i...

Re: Mystery of the HOLD light!
I am still confused Goeff the led lights up when shorted? so there is no need to read the code on the flashing hold light. is that what you are saying? I did mine with just a wire and read the codes from the hold light but both will work? If so will a circuit tester do this like a multimeter? No yo...

Re: Mystery of the HOLD light!
Just another thought here there are TWO (well four if you have SRS & ABS as well) separate diagnostic systems involved in the Bongo, I noticed in the original post that you mentioned the TEN and TAT signals now those come from different systems..... ENGINE Diagnostics - GLOW PLUG FLASHES Ground ...
