Re: Wynn's coolant system flush
This info is generic but I am sure someone will offer advice about the specifics of your vehicle. As you dont state what engine you have or the reason for the flushing. I am assuming it is because the coolant is contaminated or has corrosion evident and you have remedied the cause. I dont know your ...

Re: Acceleration Problem
Not clear what you mean from your description of the fault. Do you mean the revs increase on the rev counter but the vehicle speed decreases or remains the same , like a slipping clutch on manual or that the engine sounds flat and has no pulling ability? Is it petrol or diesel? Did the fault appear ...

Re: Wynn's coolant system flush
We use Wynns for flushing systems but find it sometimes needs a couple of goes if you are using it for removing corrosion and there is a lot of contaminant in the system. If you are flushing following oil contamination from a head gasket letting by or the like then we prefer Forte Rad flush as it do...

Re: Roof Solar Panels
I used these people in the past on our VW van. http://www.photonicuniverse.com/en/ I used 2 flexible panels bonded to the roof on plops of Sikka flex to allow a small air gap beneath the panel and the roof. You can belts and braces with screws if you want but I never had a problem with just bonding ...

Re: Air Con - Geen light but no life
An addendum to the above. Most, but not all, AC system compressors are dependent on the lubricant in the refrigerant. So put simply no refrigerant normally means no lubricant and the potential for expensive damage to the compressor. It is best if you intend to defer repair or to not repair that the ...

Re: Air Con - Geen light but no life
I am not familiar with the AC indicator lights on the Bongo. However the simplest way forward from the leakage point of view would be to take the vehicle to a garage that has modern AC equipment like Halfords or slimier. FYI our system works in the following way. After connecting the machine will ev...

Re: Any decent leisure batteries out there?
I found the same problem and so 20 odd years ago I started using car batteries 3 some times 4 year warranties and in our various camper vans owned in that time I have never had a problem. Nowadays with most on board stuff being low draw should be even better.

I have one of the above with a full side conversion.
Nearside has a rear cigar lighter socket. Would I find one on the offside rear too? This area is currently covered by wardrobe paneling.

Re: Siezed bongo?
A P.S. on that. Leave the cap off of the expansion tank whilst you try to crank it this will help the coolant in the bore to leave the bore out of the same way it came in and I would mark the tank with tippex at its current level. If it does fire up then dont rev it too much let it run for a few sec...
