Re: What made you Bongo?
What made you go for a Bongo over other options such as VW or Panel Van? I just can't decide which of the above options to go for for 2 adults and a youngling. Key is space, I know Bongo's are small but at a push i'd add an awning. Plans are to travel the UK and definitely want a vehicle I can go t...

Re: Rusted Fuel Tank
Bugger!
As you filled it it could just be the return pipe leaky. As long as you run 3/4 tank that should do the trick till you can get back, in the meantime have a good holiday.

Re: Removing the rear speakers
Fraid thats not gonna do it either. The speaker is bolted to a frame that in turn is bolted to the vehicle structure. Why not run another wire to relace that speaker wire from the back of the radio znd leave the old speaker in situ.

Re: Rusted Fuel Tank
When I had the tank out of mine it was badly pitted on the top around the shoulders luckily caught in time, treated and painted all good now. Have you recently brimmed the tank? Could it be just from a perished fuel hose. Easy enought to lift the sender cover in the floor and check if you havnt a si...

Re: Head gasket? Sniff test
Yes, that does sound like a block test, liquid should turn a pee yellow color or green with some AFs. I would still check your cap is releasing when it should and the other checks. If you drove 250 miles back a trip up the road wont hurt. Where in the country are you? Someone on here may be able to ...

Re: Emissions Diagnostics on V6
Hi Ian
He should have been given a print out of the gas readings . It would help if we could see those.

Re: Engine swap
Q: 300BHP Why?
A: Because we can.
:
Q2: when is a Bongo not a Bongo?
A2: When its got 300bhp.
Just make sure that PortaPotti is locked down.
It will certainly upset the VW/Subaru fraternity

Both Bongo’s full side conversion, first it was at the back not far from boot already done when I bough it, sealed into locker itself. 196D5FB2-1B43-4F7C-A673-35003E47F55B.jpeg Second I’ve removed rear heater matrix so just used one of the nice holes Mazda made for me to run from inside locker outs...
