My Bongo has a side kitchen and the rear seat is close to the rear window and the only way I could get a wheel chair in was through the sliding door .. but .. only a pedestrian controlled lecky one .. not an all terrain type or mobility scooter ..

So I bought a purpose made by Toyota WAV Alphard .. It's fitted with a down to the pavement remote controlled lecky side exiting seat.. crane in the back and a wheel chair winch ..

I still have it and use it as every day transport .. unfortunately my son never even got to sit in it before he died ..

Watch out, you'll be addicted to spam fritters and far away fish and chips if you carry on like that.

definitely can be done. I had a basic bongo with gull wing seats. A manual unfolding ramp was put in the back. We could still fold the seats down to use as a bed although not fully flat pillow end. Pm me with any questions. Caz
