New Rear Arches Time!

Post by rchambers84 » Sat Jul 11, 2020 7:25 pm

When I got my bongo one of the first things I noticed was the plastic trim covering the rear arches. It has a few spots of surface rust here and there so I knew the trims most likely covered the same.
Well a few weeks ago I took them off to see and little did I know its more than a little surface rust.
After i put my thumb through it, it was time to get the grinder!

Just finished the first one, the second one is also in and ready for filling/blending

Overall I'm very happy with it for a DIY job

Well done. It's a job many bongo owners are faced with, good to see you too the plunge and repaired it yourself. Looks 100% better.
