Our BONGO was stolen in Bristol - please help!

Post by Sabine » Mon Nov 30, 2020 5:32 pm

ImageHi there,

my name is Sabine from Bristol. Unfortunately our Bongo (silver, with pop-up roof and green lining) was stolen last week. Wekk commencing 23.11.2020.

As you can imagine - we are devastated and appreciate any help. The poilice is informed as well as the harbour police. 2 Bongos were stolen in that week - our and the one from our neighbour, which is sooooo baddddd! Our neighbours got theirs back, but ours is gone??? [-o<

If you can help to look out, that would be awesome.

Our Bongo's registration is: P248RYB, silver and has a Banksi-Bad-Panda sticker on the passenger seat site, plus 2 stickers at the rear - one donkey sticker and a green sticker with the phrase: We love the Gower. We changed the upholstery, when we bought our van, which might also help. Please see attched pics.

Thank you all for your great help.

Warm regards - Sabine / Bristol / 07900445075 Image

Hello Everybody,

we got epic good news. Our stolen Bonfrom from Bristol was FOUND! We are over the moon - as you can imagine! She only needs a few things done, which is good. Otherwise (the people) all the stuff were turned upside down and only a couple of things were stolen.

We are just very HAAPPPPYYYY, that our van is back!!!

Big hug to you all for your good energy,

Sabiene from Bristol :D xox

That's such good news. :D :D :D

Might be worth looking into something like the Disklock:

https://www.carnoisseur.com/products/de ... oREALw_wcB

Prices vary so have a look round, I'm pretty sure the small fits Bongy.

Problem is the Bongo was never intended to be sold outside Japan, where there is almost no car crime, so they didn't fit particularly fancy locks.

Just glad he's home. 8)

Mega thanks, But just replied to another Bongo owner here from Bristol, who is looking for their stolen van. Bristol is now hot spot for the gang, which steals BONGOs. BAAAD and nasty!!! S

Further to this, ADS have contacted customers with a warning that thieves are moving out of Bristol to surrounding towns, so if you live anywhere near I suggest upping your security.
