Hi all

Thanks so far for advice, I went ahead on saturday and bought...Bingu!

Imageme and camper no plate x 2 by Peter Spavin, on Flickr

She is a 1996 2.5 V6 Petrol, with AFT. She's got 134k miles on her books. She is a dream to drive and I got my first wave during the first day of driving her!

Looks a beaut. =D>

Be aware there is a spate of thefts in the Bristol area so seriously consider some extra security.

Hey Bob, yeah I had heard of that. Do you know how they have typically been stolen?
I am open to any recommendations on security, DM me if you have any ideas or post general advice here by all means

No idea how the scum are doing it, just know what's been on here, plus contact from ADS and input from my brother, not sure where he gets updates.

Disklok is useful, check prices as they vary a lot, small size fits.

Alarm/imobiliser/bollard on drive/tracker... depends on budget and how far you want to go, and others may have some thoughts.

There's now a metal box available to cover the pedals and lock securely.

A Google of 'Mazda Bongo Pedal Lock', or similar, will bring up an E Bay seller, others may be available.

Welcome and hope you have many miles of happy Bongoing. Get to know her and in particular, check and prod underneath for rust and budget for welding work. Ask me how I know ha ha. But they're worth it. 14 great years with one Bongo in my case.
