MPG

What's the MPG like? Can I use chip fat and veggie oil? What about LPG?

MPG

Post by stefan442 » Mon Apr 23, 2012 12:19 pm

Just did a drive to drop the missus off at the air port, took the scenic route as i wanted to give the bongo a test so i filled her up before i went!

Did 119 miles round trip, filled her back up when i got back at the same petrol station to the same point. (could squeeze more in but i stopped as soon as it cut off)

Put 19.8 litres in her,

119/19.8 = 6.0101

6.0101 x 4.54 = 27.28mpg

_______

6.010 litres per mile

4.54 litres per gallon

Not too bad considering it was hilly (ish) and about 20 mins on the motorway each way which I was going 70.

Assume i have done this right, must have seen about 8 bongos on my journey as well. Can't make a new thread for each one, few grumpy people and a few waved back :D
