Since buying veg oil from the likes of Tesco and Asda is a complete lottery .... one week it's £1/litre, next week it's £2/litre , has anyone been able to approach a bulk supplier to get oil? Was thinking of 25 gal (113 litre) drums rather than a 1,000 litre IBC.
I would use Makro if I could get a business account. Which I can't.

Re: Bulk Veg Oil
Stay away from the big supermarkets, try Asian/Chinese style supermarkets that supply the take away trade....I get 20 ltr drums GBP18-20. No membership card required.

Proper trade places dont have cards, they just look at the size of the cash bundle you have and what you buy, that would soon prove you are trade.
Makro is easy to get a trade card for, just tell them you are opening a chippy and want to buy oil etc.
If they ask for paper work tell them you are new and just starting out, as trade in general is quiet they should let you in, then see you buy loads of oil
I would ask local chippy for the best supplier
