Where do you buy your Veggie oil?

Where do you buy your Veggie oil?
We went out today to try and find some cheap oil but came home empty handed. We are in Southampton so tried FarmFoods which didn't have anything bigger than a 1L bottle then we tried Tesco and Asda and neither had much going cheap.
Where's good? Do I need to get a CostCo or Macro card somehow?

My local lidl has a stack of 100% rapeseed oil at £1.09 litre. Whether thats a national offer I couldn't say. I haven't yet gone down that route but reading past posts, rapeseed seem to be the way to go and possibly adding a inline filter

Buy one lot (£30+) and you'll get £5.00 voucher off your next lot (£40+)fatcatlawyer wrote:"World foods aisle in Tesco 10 lutres for £9. (two 5 ltr bottles)
5x£9.00-£5.00+£40 = 80p/litre.

Good price, but consistently lower at Makro, last lot I got before selling Bongo was £15.49 for 20lt up from £14.99.
There is cheap veg out there, if you can get a trade card through work or friends do it, also check out local Indian stores as has been posted on here they can be cheap.

Not if you have to drive at least 100 (or more) miles round trip to get it.The Great Pretender wrote: but consistently lower at Makro, last lot I got before selling Bongo was £15.49 for 20lt up from £14.99.
Just looked online as they deliver free over £60 and no card needed either - but what do they call it?
Tried vegetable oil - no results
Tried cooking oil - no results
Tried sunflower oil - no results
Tried rapeseed oil - no results
So what is it called?

I think you will find that its "in store only"
Re: Where do you buy your Veggie oil?
In that case it's not cheaper than Tesco, as nearest Makro is North London or Birmingham.rita wrote:scanner wrote:Not if you have to drive at least 100 (or more) miles round trip to get it.The Great Pretender wrote: but consistently lower at Makro, last lot I got before selling Bongo was £15.49 for 20lt up from £14.99.
