The world's gone mad!

What's the MPG like? Can I use chip fat and veggie oil? What about LPG?

You jammy sod! Down south the gas prices haven't really changed even though petrol has dropped to £1.11 round here.

Roll on the madness :D

Unfortunately the best price near me has been 62.9p/L for a few weeks now and hasn't continued to fall with petrol prices.

Usually cheaper around the towns where lots of Taxis run on LPG ..

A lot of the gas places around Wolvo. and Brum. tend to be an LPG tank situated on a car wash / tyre fitting type of site ..

As some Birmingham sellers (none that I recognise on the above list I hasten to add) have a reputation for selling contaminated gas that 'gloops' in the filters .. I tend to use this dealer as I get 3p a litre discount and he as a good reputation and clean LPG ..

Been using The Gas Station for nearly four years now and never had any problems. I'd guess that if they were selling contaminated gas the taxi drivers wouldn't be too happy.

62.5 here!

Problem is, where there is not a supermarket in vicinity they feel no real pressure to drop the price.

It was a Birmingham taxi driver who mentioned it to me .. one place in particular as being particularly suspect .. but as we are not allowed to say names ................

In fairness it seems most of the Taxi drivers have there LPG serviced once a year .. that is why he mentioned the amount of crud in the filter which along with others he reckons is due to dirty gas / containers ..
