fuel oils

What's the MPG like? Can I use chip fat and veggie oil? What about LPG?

Are you putting this straight in the tank with no mods?

Does it run OK?

Straight into tank with a diesel mix of 70/30 summer
30/70 winter
Veg oil freezes to like a jelly at low temps so less veg in winter
Will run fine on 100% in summer stinks tho

Yes they say it's a silicon or something that can block injectors
I stopped looking for it years ago and just chuck it in

Do get a new fuel filter to KEEP in the bongo
As the veg oil will clean out tank and fuel lines for the first few months
And has been known to cause a blocked filter and leave you stranded miles from no where
Change filter after a few months and get another to keep in there ( Sod's law )

What I do is this, lol (so many times over the last 13 years) wait until tank is quarter full, then either at farm foods or wherever else is cheap..tesco eight quid for 10 litres, farm foods £9.99 for 10 litres..bung it straight into tank..in summer I use as much as 30 to 40 litres a go..drive to fuel station, top up with diesel and Robert is your fathers brother.. as the saying goes.
