Not much no claims
Got 3 points on me licence ( made no difference )

Had a phone round not many interested if we're wanted over a grand
A flux £750 ish

So I'm happy with that
Gas safe heating engineer / plumber if you need any advice just shout.

Try aib ins and ask for Darren ,very helpfull guy and might be able to help you out.they do a lot for other forums etc .mention you're in bongo fury !

I had a similar insurance nightmare (Manchester postcode, no NCB) and was getting quotes for around £2k (even though we have secure off-road parking). In the end I found Admiral could insure with my partner (has years of NCB) as the policy holder naming me as the main driver. Still a bit steep (£700) but this was the best I could find. Might be worth a try if you have someone with NCB willing to be the policy holder.
