2gether Insurance does not include 3rd party cover for driving other cars

I'd come to believe 3rd cover came with all policies. But not this one it seems "as its a campervan policy" they said. They suggested i try tempcover.com if i needed temporary cover. Not cheap but can't think what else to do if our glider pilot lands in a field and i have to go and retrieve it in his Landrover. Hey ho :-(

If his Landy is worth more than about £100 I'd ask him to add you as a 'Named Driver' on his policy.

That way you're fully comp if the worst happens, and it's not normally too expensive for us oldies.

Also another negative with my policy with 2gether is the excess of £25 for Windscreen chip repair and circa £150 excess for replacement Windscreen! Usually a Fully Comp policy will have free chip repair and £60-80 excess for a new screen....luckily I purchased the Rain X Chip Repair for £7 from Wilko, bargain and it fixed the chip and crack with fantastic results!
