Brilliant pics you have there =D> =D> =D>

I'm glad I had the chance to pop in for a brief visit on the Friday but really miffed the rest of the weekend when I didn't get the chance to come back. I did however get a wave from a bongo as we left Aviemore on the Saturday and I spotted one at the Carrbridge chainsaw carving competition on the Sunday, so not all bad.

Must try to make the full bash next year.

Mrs G said it was a pleasure to take Chris with us as I had somebody to cycle with when she felt like turning back. I was just glad that Chris took it easy on us oldies

The cycle was great despite our initial wrong direction

This sign made us a bit wary

A big thanks to Chrissy for organising the site, the home bakes, limoncello and cooking the black pudding =D> =D> =D>

It was good to meet some new faces along with all the usual suspects. Looking forward to an April meet already. May take the sloe gin along next time unless Mrs Muz takes hers in which case I'll take the damson gin instead.

Cracking weekend, and some cracking photos there too. Wish I'd remembered my camera now!

Thanks to Chrissy for organising, and the BP in the morning, most tasty!

And a thanks from Morna to Matt & Zoe for the lift down the road - lifesavers!

Cheers
Dave

Thanks for sorting this out Chrissy =D> Nice to see everybody again, even if we were on a bit of a flying visit. We had a brilliant ride out on Sunday, although I wish I had pinched a slice of your black pudding before we went, to give that extra little bit of energy towards the end  I have one apology to make....... I think I stood in your 'water feature' on my way to bed  Thanks again.... great pictures folks =D>

=D> =D> =D> You have to make your mark in our patch somehow don't you? I knew we should have sent you further down to midge heaven like The Gordons tried to do to us

It was a pleasure to organise and to provide the puddings.

Most people have requested a spring meet at the Red Squirrel next year so we can build a bid bonfire to keep warm around and I will be quite happy to try and organise that. Except last year the man told me we could turn up with as many Bongos as we liked as he had 30,000 acres to put us in!

Good craic, good company and surprisingly good weather!

May I add a thank you to Chrissy for organizing the meet - really enjoyable - thanks for the black pudding - good meet, good company, good site and good grub and tipples! We will be trying the recipes! =D> =D>
We are still ambling around Scotland - made Applecross a couple of days ago - nearly got blown away  but thats the fun of Bonnie Scotland!

Thanks all for a great night. =D>
The afternoon/evening was nice and warm, but forgot (could of been due to Magners and Whisky?) that the sight of the night sky clearing so that we could see every star, meant it was going to be a cold one!!. Actually thought about staying in the toilet block after visiting it at some silly hour of the morning, as it was well heated. Next time I'll pay the extra for a leccy pitch and take a fan heater with me just incase. Breakfast warmed us up though, the Stornaway black pudding for breakfast was awesome but the fruit pudding was even better!! thanks Chrissy. =D> I could of eaten a lot more of the stuff, but thought I better leave some for others. and that also goes for the lemon coconut slices.....and I'm not a fan of coconut!!!

It was our first ever night sleeping in the bongo (only had it for 4.5 years) but it won't be the last. Hope to make it to Red Squirrel.

Our efforts of photos.......
