ATS Euromaster are doing a deal for around £45. I got mine done there. Its a nice deal especially if you have the dual aircon (back and front) as its a flat price. you my need to supply them with the specs. which are available on a fact sheet in the members area I think. In 8yrs I had never had mine checked and it has leaks so be sure to ask whoever you take it to if they check for leaks first. Other wise you be back to square one quite quickly. Good luck.

Contact Nigel on 07864 292945. He's the best I know, based in Matlock. He will come to you. His website is www.derbyshireairconservices.co.uk.

I can vouch for Nigel being a top bloke. He's helped me out with some replacement O rings for the rear pipework.

Well Nigel arrived on saturday 8.30pm and finished at 11pm poor lad was shattered he'd been out all day, but nothing was too much trouble, full service absolutely top bloke, can highly recommend, leakes fixed, all system tested and its now working perfect.

Just to add I was going to try and do this myself with the kits you can buy from halfords but seeing what extras you get from Nigel for more or less the same price and done professionally I would have ended up spending twice as much and probably damaged the system.

Ohh and lovely and cool now :D

Anyone in the Co. Durham area know of anyone that can sort out my aircon. went to get it re-gassed, but it has leaks apparently. Got something that looked like smoke (I assume refrigerant) coming out of the rear vent, but cant remember if it was when he was filling or when we tried the aircon. Looked at the seals leading from outside the floor behind drivers door but they seem ok. Anyhelp appreciated.

I understand that it is a requirement of the garage to pressure test the system before re-gassing as it is illegal to vent refrigerant into the atmosphere which is what happens if you have a leak. Mine was tested to 180 psi with CO2 before they would allow it t be re-gassed.

Hi Simon,
I think thats what he what he did to produce the "smoke" because he said it was no good trying to re-gas it until the leak was sorted, also Im sure he mentioned CO2. #-o

Hi that seal is a common problem, thats where mine went on my previous bongo. Most places should have a box of seals along with their air con equipment and it's a very quick job to change it.
