how much oil.???

hiya,
doing a service on my bongo, oil/ filters. 2.5 LITRE T.D
how much oil do i need to put in from empty?

Don't know what the official figures are but when I changed the oil and filter a couple of weeks ago I got 7 litres in and then checked a couple of times after that to ensure once run in that it was still Ok and added a bit more.

about 6.5 litres with a filter change

According to the hand book ..

Winter grade oil ................(-10celcius) 5W-30

Normal grade oil (15celcius > 40celcius) 10W-30

Oil changed twice a year or @ 5000km (aprox 3,100 miles) .. (glad I have a petrol Bongo..!!)

Just an oil change .. 6.0litres

Oil & filter change .. 6.7 litres

Filter changed once a year or @ 10,000km (aprox 6,200 miles)
JAL Mushroom roof,12/240v, fridge, cooker, sink, LPG V6 .. (written off @ £5500 Nov 2016)

i changed filter,
put 7 litres in, just above full,
started her up, droped to full!
