It flashes only when the motor is running and the central locking has stopped working
What does this mean, could be a fuse I guess but I don?t have the motor here with me to have a look at it.
Glow plug light keeps flashing

This happened to me recently when I was fitting a clock - I must have touched a couple of wires together and blown a fuse. I think you may find that the number 8 fuse (mirrors and cigar lighter) or number 1 fuse (interior) has blown and this causes the glow plug light to flash.
When I replaced the fuses all was well again and I was mightily relieved it was nothing more serious!
I searched at the time and did find a reference to someone finding similar, but can't find it now I look again. Basically, if your interior light and buzzer no longer work, that's number 1 and if your mirrors don't work, that's number 8. I think.
