Air Con ?

Post by xjr1300 » Fri Jul 14, 2006 3:08 pm

Hi all,
Advice please,
Have just got back from a 300 mile trip in the Bongo.
Van performed perfectly all week, even in a hour and half snarl up on the M62.Temp guage on a third all the time.
On getting home I noticed a small damp patch under the front offside on the road.Seems to be coming from a plastic type of housing. Could this be from the air con as I remember reading on the Forum about a similar thing?
Appreciate any comments.
Thank You ,
Bill,
Sheffield

Yes Bill that will be the condensation run-off from the aircon. It can be a bit alarming the first time you see it as the Bongo chucks a fair amount out.

Hi Ian,
Thanks for your swift reply.
Having had a cracked head before any little thing has me nervous.
As I said before ,van has been brilliant all week, It,s the first decent run she,s had (apart from son in law taking it to Gt. Yarmouth).Wife and I, two grandkids found it the perfect vehicle for touring.
Was gonna invest in alloys and low profile tyres but it rides so well I won,t bother.
Thanks again,
Bill.
