Heater Fan Not Working - Which Fuse ?

Post by Nismo200sx » Sat Sep 09, 2006 10:57 am

Hi Can Somebody please help?

The Heater Fan in the front has stopped working. I have looked at some of the fuses and looked up the diagrams and help sheets on here but I must be thick because I am still none the wiser about which fuse I should check. The rear fan works fine.

Sounds like your heater fan resistor has packed in -a common fault on the Bongo. Alternatively it may also be a seized fan but I would check both as its an easy job. Suggest you look in the Dr Fox archives if you are a member -it decribes the job in detail.

Turns out it was a seized fan. A good friend of mine stripped the motor to its components, cleaned it up, replaced the brush springs that had rusted away, and now it works just fine.

Total Cost 80p and a few beers

Now thats what friends are for. :D
