if anyone is interested, i have now solved the problem!!!!
strangly the abs warning light is doubling up as lamp monitoring???
found ironically that both! rear break lights had blown??
lucky i have a high level one in the roof spoiler!!!
anyway, replaced both of these (which incidently are completely different to the ones supplied in my "free" lamp kit from ava??)
and hey presto, light now goes of after a few seconds
