Tip for cd changer and stuff

Post by cliveybaby » Tue Sep 26, 2006 7:22 pm

Hello folks
just fitted a cd changer a thought would share tip

sorry if teaching to suck eggs

under the dash behind the glovebox their is a brace that is much like a
scaffold pole
if you buy 2 U-Brackets (50mm) as you would use on large arial masts and stuff
they fit around the bar and with a small amount of adjustment fit the
plastic bracets that are supplied with most cd changers

then when fitted, using a bit of skill you can adjust the position
so that the door that accepts the magazine is just in the gap
from the top of the back of the glovebox and the dash
meaning you can open the glovebox and change the cd's

worked very well for me
very pleased with result as so neat and concealed

Cheers all
