Sliding door middle runner catching

Post by RobinTurner » Fri May 22, 2020 5:38 pm

The middle runner on the sliding door seems to have a lot of play between the pin and the groove and when pulled forward seems to twist in and catch, causing a grind...making the door hard to move. The ball bearing looks ok and doesn’t seem to be the issue. Is this a common issue, is there an easy fix?

Not heard of any damaged guides normally its a bit of grit, sand, clip or something in the track causing grief. Very often its the lower guide down below the step that gets filled and needs brushing out.
