Thanks for that info, timely as my front passenger side sensor has died. Do you have a link or part no. For the connector? I can't seem to find one. Are they 'superseal' connectors?

Cheers

Paul.

Connectors arrived today bit disappointed they are slightly smaller so I ran a Stanley between the 2 pins and slid a Packer in between and it fits I’ll put a dab of silicon around the water sealing seal when it goes on for good got some photos

Hi willow2u,
Great post, Thank you. My front nearside sensor has gone and I was just wondering if the Ohmic value of the sensor matches the circa 1600 of the original or did you have to add resistors?

Cheers

If someone knows the original resistance I’ll check them

I checked mine to find the faulty one and all three good ones read 1640 Ohms. I'm going to fit one using your method but I was just curious to find out what the resistance was.

Any updates on this? I need to replace a sensor asap and don't really want to pay £200 for sensor if this one is confirmed as working.

Hi,
My sensor has just arrived this morning and the resistance of the sensor (without cabling and connectors) is 1240 Ohms. I am going away this weekend so it will be next week before I fit it to the bongo but as an electrician I would reckon it is not going to be far off the 1640 Ohms of the others. \:D/

Will post again next week.
