Fridge not working...
Hi. We bought a Bongo recently but cannot get the fridge working. Its a vitrifrigo c42l. We tested the current from both batteries and they were ok. We tested the current on the fridge power wires, and it was zero. The fuses all look ok in the zig cf9. And the water pump and lights are all working. i think its a wire disconnected or a fuse i cannot see, so before i try and remove the cabinets does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks!
Re: Fridge not working...
Hi, and welcome.
Difficult to suggest where to look as the converters all have their own methods.
One would expect a fuse as near as possible to the battery, but there may be an inline fuse anywhere. If you know who built it they may offer an idea.
Good luck.

Re: Fridge not working...
Think its JAL imports.
There was a blown fuse on the fridge wire at the back of the zig cf9 but replacing the fuse hasn't fixed it.

Re: Fridge not working...
Is there power as far as that fuse? If not you (obviously) need to go further back.
Maybe the fuse blew again?
Maybe run a temporary (fused) wire from the battery to that fuse and see if the fridge works?

Re: Fridge not working...
I ran the lead from the battery to the fridge. The fridge works. So the problem lies with the zig cf9. Thank you

Progress at least.
