Has anyone tried a 323f driver side window switch on a 2001 model?

Post by Nabil » Mon Aug 03, 2020 10:49 pm

Hi

On eBay there is a 323f driver switches for £14, but it says for up 98 model? Has anyone tried it on 2001 model ?

If it doesn’t work, where can I find one for a reasonable price?

Thanks

I purchased a new one from ebay £14 delivered and it plugged in and worked fine, except the drivers switch did passenger side and passenger switch did drivers side, this meant you couldn't use the switch lock passenger side window as it will lock drivers side 🚐
No problem though I just swapped the wires over in the plug by pulling the pins out and swapping them over so they do correct windows.

I tried the 323f switch and it has no life. Doesn’t do anything on my 2001 model.

Put the old one back, and the sliders on the driver side when the switch is opened up doesnt do anything to the driver or passenger window.

However when I press the passenger window both left and windows go up and down randomly depending where I place the driver side switch slider.

When I mean slider I mean as per the photo attached.

Lock switch works fine.

Hi Winnie, are you sure it’s a newer 2001 model, I plugged it in but the switches are not working. Thanks 🙏🏼

Morning, it’s super hot days and I still can’t get my driver side window switch working. I bought the 323f replacement, it was recommend up to ‘98 model but thought I would try my luck on my 2001 model, it plugs in but is not working. Will rewriting the plug make it work?

Thanks

As far as I am aware it won't make it work, the type where re-wiring the pins merely had the pairs for each window swapped so that passenger switch operated drivers side and vice-a-versa. If its not working now then no reason that it would work reversed.
