Running poorly once warmed up - V6 2.5 Petrol

Post by rocketchef » Wed Aug 19, 2020 3:59 pm

Hello all,

Just working on the Bongo now before a trip in next couple of days, I noticed it's not running smoothly after a few minutes of warming up. Have checked basics (spark plugs etc) but am now moving on to more advanced things.

A few things I'm checking now (mostly sensors):

* Resistance range of the coolant temp sensor from the ECS

* Values for the oxygen sensor - how to identify fault sensor

* How to identify a faulty mass airflow meter

Two things I need:

1. I don't have a manual (yet!) and won't be able to get one in time for the trip! Is there a kind soul who can find me the information I need for the above?

2. Any advice on other things to check?

Ta!

Never worked on the V6 but I would suggest looking carefully at the vacuum pipes and intake ducting for splits etc.
