recommendation for seat belt fitter

Post by annemarigold » Wed Sep 30, 2020 12:35 pm

Cab anyone recommend a fitter for 2 seat belts on the folding bed. I'm in Eastbourne. The rock and roll bed appears to be a DIY job and is a bit clunky although the metal framing beneath look to be a pro job. We'd like to fit 2 seat belts. There are some random fittings still in place but no complete seat belts. I could also have the van in Surbiton. None of us has the skill for DIY fitting. Thanks Anne

I'm not sure you could do this on a home made bed.

The buckle part of the original set up is fixed to the seat, which, along with it's fixing to the rails, must meet strict standards.

With no belts the rear bed/seat can't be used for travelling.

Ok thanks. That's a shame. Are the requirements easy to find? If I employed a fitter found online how would I know they adhered to the requirements?
