Hi,
I'm looking to change my roof box and I was wondering if anyone knows the max lifting weight for a manufacturer AFT. I have a 1996 model with a roof rack that extends to the gutters.
My current roof box weighs 16.8kg plus the roof rack that I think weighs about 10 kg.
Thanks

Re: AFT lifting weight
This is from the "Roofracks" fact sheet in the members area:
"You have a number of solutions if you have an elevating roof, but please bear in mind that you do not want to put too much strain on the elevating roof, so it is recommended that you do not raise the roof with your surf boards, luggage and so on still in place. It is recommended that the top loaded weight is 60kg, with a raise-the-roof weight of 20kg."
