Aircon Tensioner Bolt

Post by oibaf » Fri Jul 02, 2021 2:02 pm

Hey folks,

The bolt on the aircon belt tensioner has snapped while adjusting the tension on that belt (midway through doing a cambelt change).

Does anyone know are these available off-the-shelf? Or is there an equivalent?

Here's a picture:

Just to update, seems like it's part 15-932 here: https://lushprojects.com/bongopartsmk2/ ... mgno=.html

The whole section is the AC tensioner pulley. Found a used one online and will be having that fitted in a week or two but mechanic says that it's fine to drive it as is...so long as I don't desperately need the aircon, which, given Irish weather, is unlikely.

Mazda dealer wanted €30 for a new bolt.

I had to pay it in the end.

Robbery.
