Probably not going to make it now.

Poorly Bongo not yet back from head surgery. :(

If all goes well, he's back at the end of the week.

Hi,
We have a rear carpet, which I removed when I put lino down for our conversion. It is not fantastic but its ok. It is Grey in colour, we can bring it to the bash if anyone wants it (FREE).

Thanks to Ian for picking such a great campsite! What a beautiful view to wake up to! =D>

As usual all Bongo peeps are SO friendly! We had a great weekend, and met some lovely people. It was nice to see Sue and Pete again (who we met at last year's annual bash).

Janet and Des ~ hope you got home ok! We may turn up on your doorstep one of these days!
Hello to Tom ~ always nice to meet fellow Scousers!
Sally and James ~ hope you got home safely.
Dot and Pete ~ thanks for your company at the pub, we had laugh.

Hi to everyone else who we nattered to (and who were asking about our Quechua tent!), hope to see you all again at another bash!

Take care, keep Bongoing!!

Lynn & Chris (SparkyBee) xx

Thanks to Ian + Team BongFury for organizing another excellent venue for the Welch rally. =D> =D> =D> Thoroughly enjoyed it in spite of the less than perfect weather. Pity we could not get tickets for the train to Snowdon, maybe next year. Looking forward to the Peak District next. Have already booked three extra days before at the same campsite to make the long journey worthwhile :)

I'm afraid we were guilty of not taking pics of the bash, also guilty for not socialising much in the evening (to b****y cold & windy...)
Nice meeting those of you we spoke to & apologies for those we didn't..
We did enjoy our first 'Bongo Bash' though.

'Bongo leader' Ian organised a really good walk up Snowdon on the Saturday which Sandy, Mark, Jo & I joined him on. The views were great and the visibility was excellent (for once..).

Unfortunately though due to Ian's poor organisation the walk ended in a pub where we had to wait for the bus back to camp. Due to the sun beating down on me in the pub courtyard I was forced to regulate by body temperature by drinking beer

Thanks to Ian & everyone else involved.

Nice site, Bongos not grouped close enough for decent photos.

Cloudy but sunny.

A nice calm day.

Except for 1 very windy night, a very good weekend, thanks to Ian and Bongo Fury.
