Welsh Bongo Bash: 21 to 23 August, Snowdonia

If you are going away somewhere and don't mind meeting up with other Bongo owners or if you've been somewhere & want to tell us about it & stick up your photos, put the details here.

Debs,
We've booked! We visit Wales and Anglesey regularly, have probably seen you and given a wave. We were staying at Kingsbridge last week, just outside Beaumaris. Lovely site. Lovely island. Not so lovely weather Thursday-Sunday!
It will be nice to meet up with people. Don't post on the forum a lot but do read it all the time.

We would be going but have tickets to see U2 in Cardiff on the Saturday! :D If anyone knows any good sites that are Bongo friendly please let me know.
We were in Beaumaris on Sunday having a Fathers Day lunch in the Bulkley Arms - lovely!
Saw a couple of Bongos around on Saturday - few in Betws y Coed and a white one near Llanberis which has a very similar number plate to our white one, ending in WAW!!!!

We'll be going.

Its my birthday that weekend, Mrs M has promised me a flying lesson as a prezzie.

Going to find a local place to do it up there & maybe get in a low level fly-by or two.

I was under strict insturctions that I wasn't to book a bongo meet for marks birthday so we are off to Edinburgh Fringe instead - have a great time everyone.

Doesn't that offer a brilliant opportunity - we inadvertently organise a Bongo-bash on the same weekend and, spookily, at the same campsite

He has made sure I don't try anything by booking a B&B - when there was availability at a recommended and lovely looking campsite too - but its his 40th so I am letting him make the plans (for once).

You can always send him along with me doing the Air Display!

I'll do my best to get him back in one piece . . .

Because Debbiepritch's best friend is getting married on the same weekend, she has had to cancel, so we now have 1 place available. First one to phone 0114-2550836 during office hours gets it. Please have membership number and vehicle registration when phoning.
