This year's Tough Northerners meeting will be held at Grouse Hill, Fylindales, just south of Whitby North Yorkshire. We last went there in 2015 and it is an excellent site up on the moors, with a dog-friendly pub within walking distance. There are regular buses from the site entrance to Robin Hoods Bay, Whitby, Scarborough and beyond.
We have 30 pitches available all with electric hook-up. You must book both Friday and Saturday nights and the weekend fee is £42. All pitches are hard standing with grass surround.
Booking is via the club office on 0114-2550836 from 9.30 am on Thursday 14th February.

Sounds lovely but it's a bit too far for me for a weekend, and I'll be somewhere else before and after.

Re: Fylingdales 26th to 28th April
Just a quickie to say a big thanks to Ian and Marianne for organising another classic Tough Northerners (complete with classic weather on this occasion - it howled and lashed but we loved it esp. as we've wimped out and bought an Eriba Puck - Penny Puck - which has got our old bones back on the camping scene ). Great to see some faces from years back and several more we don't know but hope to meet again if we can get to more gatherings. And what a lovely part of the world. Never been to Whitby before but had a great day there yesterday before visiting Robin Hoods bay briefly and touring a bit of the North Yorkshire Moors - Yorkshire has so much loveliness, we're looking forward to more visits to that county.

Yes, it was good to see you again Mike. As requested we have saved you a place at the big Bash. Ring the office whenever it's convenient.
