LPG availability ??

Post by Bongoplod » Tue Dec 03, 2019 12:06 am

Anyone have a petrol Bongo with LPG conversion??
A member of one of the Bongo Facebook forums has stated he's lived in Ireland for 6 yrs and never seen anywhere that sells LPG.
Can anyone comment on its availability, other than in Dublin?

Hi, I've got a 2.5 v6 with LPG conversion. I've only had the bongo a few months and have used mylpg.eu (app & a web site), which is really accurate. However, BP ran out near Brighton over Xmas so I was back to petrol then. Also when travelling away from home, I am continually either worrying about or looking for LPG garages, they really aren't all over nowadays.
Cheers

When we got the V6 back in 2008 we looked at getting LPG but also considered where we would be travelling and decided that we would end up staying at a location and travelling out each day rather than touring simply to stay near an LPG site, that's also been proven by others who do just that.
