Hi Guys
not having any luck with the search function with regards to this question.
Has anyone with a side conversion, with a rock and roll bed and a side facing fridge, found a way to access the fridge when the bed is down?
im thinking that the only possible way is 1 - a shorter bed or 2 - adapting the frame of the bed that gets in the way of the fridge.
i know its not the biggest issue in the world but its just something that bugs me
thanks

I don't know how practical it would be to fit a top loading fridge?
Of course you then loose work top.

not something i really want to do. and would mean a new kitchen unit to reconfigure things.
i know that new dawns newset install puts the fridge at the end, facing forward but just wondered if any smart cookies had a work around.

Yep, I see the challenge.
Wasn't sure if you already had a conversion or were looking to fit one.

Have you seen the New Dawn idea of turning the fridge at right angles access from behind drivers seat ?

My Bongo has a Wellhouse Leisure side conversion, circa 2005 https://www.practicalmotorhome.com/revi ... o-friendee , and the fridge can still be accessed with the bed down. My bed is about 69" long when down, probably shorter than yours.
Never run out of road, traction and ideas at the same time.

very similar layout to mine as in regards to the fridge so i guess a shorter bed could be an option if i decide to keep it long term.
