I had the same issue with a 2 metre length of 15mm ply, used a 2mm stone cutting disc in an angle grinder which worked well with care.

Got a router now, still in the box !! :D

Have you a biscuit cutter attachment for the angle grinder or could you borrow one of those?

I got one but haven't used it yet. Saw a video on youtube where someone used it. Seemed to do the job

I bought one of these when I made my conversion and found it very useful.
