I just use a double inflatable airbed, a bit high but always a good kip and cheap, easy to store.

Where do you store the memory foam mattress when not in use??
If you have an auto free top then put it in the roof. You can keep a mattress 3" thick up there with no problem. When I had a Bongo for 7 years mine was kept up there and there was never a problem closing the roof.

Just remember to keep the engine running when opening and closing the roof to give the roof motors more power and prevent flattening the starter battery.

Hello again,

I keep all my other bedding in the AFT and so the mattress gets rolled up tightly and fits nicely behing the driver's seat (it helps that my middle row of seats are reversed so I have a handy place for storage between them and the front seats).

we tend to roll up all the bedding together and keep it on the back seat when we are away. when home again we keep it in the house

I slept downstairs without the airbed at the weekend and found it surprisingly comfy, thats the way forward for me. Less to carry too.
