Fitting a drive away awning ?

Post by fordmill » Tue May 29, 2018 9:23 pm

Hi Folks,

I've bought a outdoor revolution oxygen movelite 3xl awning. Can anybody tell me what a need to fit it onto my bongo please. I've read some post but still not got a clue - figure 8- kandor strip, double edged beading strip etc. etc.

Much appreciated

Hate to tell you this, but the tunnel on this awning is too tall to attach to a Bongo.
Quote from the Leisure Outlet write up:
This is the Tall version of the awning fitting motorhomes and campervans with an awning connection height between 240cm and 290cm!
On a Bongo tintop, the gutter - hence the awning rail - is about 180 cm off the floor.
