Campsites in Cornwall
Can anyone recommend a campsite near the sea in Cornwall. This will be our first Bongo camp. Can't wait.

This is a nice little site, basic facilities but a view to die for, very reasonable site fees.

Magic Cove, Mawgan Porth http://www.magiccove.co.uk/
Closer to the sea than Trewan Hall.
Within 300 yards of beach along valley. A Regular sunspot and very popular. There's another campsite, Marver, just below it.
Magic's facilities are brilliant and each pitch has a tap and drain.

Looe bay is brilliant, it's basic, but a fantastic spot, and them horses are something else.
Trevalgan at st ives is good and we also stopped at southwinds at polzeath.
Would stay at them all again.

You can also camp at quite a few of the youth hostels around and about in some of the loveliest locations... may be tent only...

We stayed at this one earlier in the summer. http://gwithianfarm.co.uk/ fantastic site, really friendly and a field away from 3 miles of the best surf you can find (including 3 great cafes) for great food. We will be back!!!

Just pop your roof up in Church Street carpark in Falmouth - facilities are a bit basic but you're handy for a couple of cracking chipshops and some reputable pasty outlets.
Apparently you're not supposed to do this

how can the facilities be described as basic? you have one of the biggest natural harbours in the world to pee in there!!!! thats about as posh as it gets.
