Re: New Forest
Looks like a good site in a lovely part of the South. The nearest pub, the Chequers, is about a 15 minute walk. It gets good reviews on the camp website for food and ale.
A longer walk leads you to Keyhaven where the Gunn Inn is a good pub. Great for lunch during a long walk.
If you like markets, Lymington Saturday market is a good one. Along the main street in best traditional style. The Kings Head on Quay Street, the stepped path going down to the Quay, does great food. Good atmosphere as well. Plus its dog friendly. The Angel on Lymington High Street is also good for food and is vastly ancient.
