I highly recommend Eweleaze Farm in Osmington, which is just outside Weymouth. It's a sheep farm but opens up for camping for August only. There are huge fields and the facilities are basic i.e.

- shower blocks are like big timber sheds
- toilets are small timber sheds
- no electric hook up
- no marked pitches

Sounds horrendous, but they are actually the cleanest showers and loos I've used at any campsite.

Big selling points are:-

- on site shop selling organic meat and provisions
- hot pies & chips and stone baked pizzas, for when you just can't be bothered to fire up the camping stove
- private beach
- camp fires allowed

I've gone for the past two years and will definitely make it an annual camping holiday.
