Council run (up to now, they are thinking of selling).

Without electrics using the tent 'field' 10quid for 2 peeps and the Bongo.

Tent field is actually surrounded by the hard standing electric hookups and a tarmac'd access road, its nice and flat, bbq stands, benches and a couple of trees, and backs onto the toilet block, there is another small field again backing onto the toilet block, and a very very small one nearer the river, which runs alongside (though blocked with trees) the site. There is also a mass of static vans, but they are separate to this caravan/tent area.

toilets are super clean, really smell of bleach sometimes and watch where you drop a piece of clothing as mine got bleach marks on it, very hot water, great showers.
people running it were nice and friendly.

walking distance to the town.

we went last week, so was quiet, couple of motorhomes, tents and 2 caravans, all came and went within a few days.

theres a public right of way right through the site, so i'd be slightly more careful about leaving the van open/unlocked when nipping the loo.
