Camping municipal sites France

Post by fatcatlawyer » Tue Nov 01, 2011 10:11 pm

I have noticed that there is a theme that runs through the "campsites abroard" questions and answers and how it is regularly mentioned that stays at Municipal Campsites are generally clean and reasonably priced. Well out of the blue I have found this link:
http://www.camping-municipal.org/

I have been searching for such a link for ages, not being a stranger to camping abroad at this sort of site and generally staying where I want, but being able to "plan" or at least have some idea of the location of a site and its cost

So if this is your bag, please make use of the same.

Alas my favourite one from the 1980s and 90s is now privatised and crowded. let's hope it isn't a trend... I stayed in a hice one for a couple of days in Normandy this year near St Malo. Cheap as chips and on the edge of a little fishing village.

Hi

This website has something similar that can be downloaded to your laptop / phone:

http://www.i-campingcar.fr/

It's in French, it's easier if you have a teenage daughter to help.
