considering going camping today - just feel like going :roll: and id like to see Gwrych Castle in abergele. any decent campsites with hook up that anyone knows of/stayed at????

Gwrych Castle is not a 'real castle .. but a 'mock one' from the Victoria era ..

It was rumored at one time that Michael Douglas / Katherine Zeta Jones where going to buy it ..!!

Years ago (before it's decline) there used be Sunday car boot sales ..BBQs / Josting evenings (very enjoyable) ..

Plenty of Caravan sites along the coast up towards Conway .. more down towards Rhyl..

Plenty of real castles close by though like Rhuddlan and Conway ..

Been here a few times, excellent bogs etc, nice quiet site just a few mins out of abergelly
