Cruden Bay harbour, Aberdeenshire

Beautiful spot to spend the night. Signs saying "Motorhomes welcome" with the harbour masters phone number, phone him up put a fiver with your registration written on it into the honesty box and that's it. Basic but clean public toilets, CCTV coverage, 10 minute walk to the pub, a quay side cafe (portakabin) for breakfast, beautiful walks along the beach and a lovely view to wake up to. Perfect

Best of all it's only 30 miles from home

Look terrific there. We almost went there this weekend but ended up in Newburgh instead. dog walking rather than sleeping though!

Stopped at the cafe for fish and chips on our way home from walking a bit of the coast earlier this year. Going to stop off overnight in the next few weeks.
